A: After listening to Obama's speech, the thing that moved me the most was when he said race can not be ignored or history will repeat itself. Thats important to me because race has been and issue for years and years. It still goes on today and many people dont do anything about it. Racism is an example of history repating itself because back in the 1950s-1960s racism was ignored and never settled and thats how it still is today. When Obama said that what Wright had said only divided the country even more, i thought to myself that it was very true. I really hope that having an african american president will change the world's view on race. I still want to know, What will Obama do to resolve this race issue and will it ever go away?
